Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 10, 2026

1. Overview

This policy explains what Thumbloom collects, how we use it, and the controls you have. By using Thumbloom you agree to this policy.

2. What we collect

  • Account info — your email address (we use passwordless magic-link sign-in).
  • Inputs you provide — your video topics, briefs, custom directions, and any reference photos or selfies you upload to create a Persona.
  • Generated content — the thumbnails you create and related metadata.
  • Usage & billing— basic usage to run the Service, and subscription status. Card payments are processed by Stripe; we don't store your full card details.

3. How we use it

To provide and operate the Service — generating, storing, and showing your thumbnails — to process payments, to support you, and to maintain and improve the Service.

4. Service providers we share with

We use trusted providers to run Thumbloom, and share only what's needed: Supabase (authentication, database, file storage), fal.ai and the AI image models it hosts (image generation), Anthropic (the art-director and critic), and Stripe(payments). Your inputs and generated images may be processed by these providers under their own terms. We don't sell your personal information.

5. Marketing use of your thumbnails

On Free and Creator plans, thumbnails you generate may be featured in Thumbloom's marketing — and thumbnails containing your face are excluded unless you separately opt in. Pro plans are never used. You control this anytime in your billing settings. See the full terms in our Terms of Use.

6. Your choices & controls

  • Turn marketing use of your thumbnails on or off (and control face-consent) in your billing settings.
  • Delete personas and thumbnails from within the app.
  • Request account deletion by emailing support@thumbloom.com.

7. Data retention

We keep your data while your account is active and as needed to operate the Service and meet legal obligations. When you delete content or your account, we remove it within a reasonable period, subject to backups and the “already distributed” caveat in our Terms for any marketing materials already published.

8. Security

We use reasonable measures to protect your data, but no online service can guarantee absolute security.

9. Children

Thumbloom isn't directed to children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their data.

10. Changes & contact

We may update this policy; changes are reflected by the “last updated” date. Questions? Email support@thumbloom.com.
